H. M. The Queen’s Christmas Broadcast, 2011

It’s something of a British tradition for the monarch to address the country on Christmas day at 3 o’clock, and this year’s message from The Queen considered the importance of family, friends and community and the important role we all play in pulling together to overcome adversity in times like these.

N.B. Please note that this message was recorded at Buckingham Palace in advance before being broadcast on Christmas day. As such, it was written before the Duke of Edinburgh was taken ill (needless to say, we all hope he gets better soon).
