The Diamonds of the Diamond Queen: The Cullinan V Brooch
The Cullinan V brooch was cut from one of the world’s largest natural diamonds, known as the Cullinan diamond. The centrepiece is an 18.8 carat heart-shaped diamond, set in a platinum web with a scrolling millegrain, accompanied by a pave-set border of diamonds. The brooch was designed for Queen Mary (H. M.’s grandmother and wife of George V) and is now worn by Queen Elizabeth.
Just love this picture of the Queen.

Thanks! From what I’ve heard, she is a keen photographer and uses a number of vintage cameras – next time I come across a pic of her with a camera I shall let you know 😀
