Downton chic in season 3, episode 1

Last night brought us the long-awaited return to Downton Abbey, and what an episode it was! The roaring twenties seem to be smiling upon the Crawley family, with their new wardrobes and haircuts, and I’ve picked out a few of my favourite ensembles for your viewing pleasure:

The dress… complete with art nouveau tiara holding the veil in place.
Martha Levinson made an entrance to be remembered.
Lady Sybil matching a high, scoop neckline with a plunging roaring twenties necklace.
Matthew and Lady Mary wearing matching “his ‘n’ hers” country tweed sets. The twenties never looked so good.
“Do you like my hat?”
Lady Mary sporting a stylish brown coat and matching hat. Matthew is clearly impressed.
Lady Edith showing some killer curves after doing something jolly to her hair.
The Dowager Duchess has met her match in Martha Levinson, Cora’s American mother.
