It’s all very white, crisp, and cold here this morning in Britain. I guess a little bit of snow makes a nice change from incessant rain, but a lot of snow can be a bother. Hoping all my readers in Britain and the States stay safe in this weather x

She’s so pretty š We had a male on the bird feeder this morning, which is a little unusual – the ground must have been too hard for him to find his favourite worms!

She is lovely, isn’t she? I often think that the males get all the attention with their bright yellow bills and deep black plumage, but the females have such delicate plumage, it’s a really subtle beauty. That’s really unusual! I don’t think I’ve ever seen our blackbirds on the feeders, or on the bird table. I bet the floor must have been too frozen! š
