A Monument to Studenthood
When I was a student I always used to think “I really wish it would snow enough so I could build an igloo”, but now that I’m a grown up my thoughts tend more towards “I wish that I would have enough time to build an igloo”. So part of me sighed with a heavy heart when I looked out the window and saw a group of youngsters building an igloo. You go guys, build igloos while you still can. You’re only young enough to be in the igloo building game once.
Goodness. There is enough snow where I am to build an igloo palace to fit several adults 🙂

Wow! Are you in the States? We’ve seen some pictures of the snow on the east coast in the papers over here in Britain… I can’t imagine what that must be like! Love the look of your blog by the way 🙂

Thank you I’m glad you like it. Yes, I am on the east coast and the amount of snow has been insane. You can do a search on my blog for “Greetings From Hoth” for a good laugh. We had to rake the snow off the roof to avoid collapse. So much; so heavy.

Wow, that’s a lot of snow!!! We had to do that back in 2010 when I lived way up North England. So glad I’ve never had to do that again! 🙂

I think everyone here has had about enough of it all! It was snowing again today! Though, thankfully it was just a few flakes that stopped after a while. We spend the weekend chipping away the three inches of ice off our driveway.

Oh dear, that sounds unbearable. I really hope it improves for you soon. We’ve just had our first day of sunshine today, and it felt really… warm. It’s been such a long and cold winter I’d almost forgotten what warmth feels like! Long may it continue *fingers crossed*

We went out without coats and hats today when the sun was high. Things are starting to melt. Though,I heard that our local plaza is closed due to a roof collapse. I guess they failed to shovel their roofs!

It’s great to hear that things are getting a bit better for you. I remember when I started hearing that unmistakable “drip drop” of melting after the snow in 2010 – never enjoyed that sounds quite as much as back then! 🙂
