May Blossom at Nottingham Castle
The weather in Britain has been glorious over the past couple of weeks, so I decided to take a stroll in the gardens of Nottingham Castle this weekend. I absolutely loved walking under the may blossom trees – it looks like spring has well and truly arrived!
The castle at Nottingham is a grand country house (unfortunately we burnt the medieval one to the ground during the Luddite revolts… *ahem*). Very little of the Robin Hood era castle remains, and one of the oldest parts of the castle is the entrance:
Through the entrance you get a smashing view of the castle…
… and the grounds are always beautiful, particularly in May.
All photos taken with my HTC One Mini (who knew phones could be this good?)
Beautiful photos and lovely spring weather!
