A Cute little bird visits our garden for the first time
Yesterday we had a very sweet little thing appear at the bird feeding area – a tiny ball of fluffy brown feathers.
I didn’t know what kind of bird he was – from his innocent and wide-eyed behavior I guessed he was a baby not long out of the nest (I saw him go up to a cat to see what it was… and luckily lived to tell the tale). But there was something about the way he held himself, puffing his little chest out proudly, that reminded me of a robin.
And then when his Mum appeared, my suspicions were confirmed.
I hope we see many more of these plucky little birds in the months to come 🙂
How funny is this, I just made a comment on your hedgehog post and mentioned the red breasted robin and then I was reading your other posts and see this – thank you so much for sharing – it has made my day. Loved the photos.
