A bracing walk along the clifftops at Carn Gloose

Early September is my favorite time of the year – still sunny, but with a crisp chill in the air that promises all the beauty of Autumn just around the corner. A great time of the year to enjoy a brisk walk along the Cornish cliffs and get some fresh sea air into your lungs.

    1. I know just what you mean. There’s always a tremendous social pressure in Britain to love the summer and say things like “a proper summer at last!” and to enjoy any heat as much as possible by doing lots of silly things like running, cycling, hiking in high temperatures that other Europeans would consider mad or borderline dangerous… but I have to admit… I secretly like it when it starts to get a bit chilly as we move into autumn. Log fires and gingerbread men are more my thing! πŸ™‚
